National Condition Research Project from CASS: To explore the “Southern Jiangsu model” of rural financial services--Investigating Jiangyin rural

    Since the restructuring in December 6th,2001,as one of three first-established national rural commercial banks, Jiangyin, jiangsu rural commercial bank has made prominent contribution to ensuring Jiangyin as the top of hundred counties sixth year in a row in China. In 2007, in top 100 ranking of Chinese banking industry issued by The Banker, which was the authoritative journal in the international financial field, Jiangyin rural commercial bank stepped into the top 50 Chinese bank again and ranked 41st, moving up 7 places compared with last year. Among the 13 selected national rural commercial banks, Jiangyin rural commercial bank was the first. Therefore, it will create huge value not only theoretically but also practically if we take Jiangyin rural commercial bank as the investigation object with deep research for the ”Southern Jiangsu model” of rural financial services.
