Preface:
With the continuous improvement of the level of China economic development and financial system, the content and form of financial services in rural areas have made huge changes. Under this background, in 2001, the government chose three rural commercial banks, which were located in Changshu, Zhangjiagang and Jiangyin, to set up three rural commercial banks by transforming the shareholding system. This initiative is a major institutional change to adapt to the rural financial environment in developed areas, changes of the financial environment and development of rural credit cooperatives. As one of the first batch of three founded rural commercial banks, Jiangsu Jiangyin Rural Commercial Bank has gained rapid development and made important contribution to the regional economy since the reform. The development of Jiangyin Rural Commercial Bank not only reflects the process of the changes of China rural financial system, but also forms a part of the rural financial system innovation, which is a typical case that has important theoretical significance and practical value for studying rural financial reform at the present stage in china.
