Global Financial Regulatory Reform in the Context of the Financial Crisis

Chief Editor:Li Yang and Hu Bin

Preface:

The global financial crisis has caused great shock to the global economy and financial system. Among the lots of conclusions about the causes and roots of the crisis, there is a consensus that the financial regulatory system lagging behind the financial development is the key factor of the emergence and spread of the crisis. According to this, the world's major countries and regions actively rescue the financial market and problem institutions to promote economic recovery. And at the same time, many countries have put forward their own financial regulatory reform programs. These financial regulatory reform programs reflect the introspection of regulators, academic circles, the industry and even the general public.  They not only propose a series of new regulatory philosophy and measures, but also reveal the basic trend of the development of the international financial structure and financial supervision mode after the crisis. All of these financial regulatory reform programs are important references for reforming financial system, constructing financial supervision system and cooperating in international financial supervision in China.
